Managing time is great skill which everyone should have.Time is everything dont pass it simply by doing unproductive and those activities which will decrease your potential. Time is valuable should not be wasted in stupid things.Time is limited and one must utilize wisely.
Time can make a king into slaves or a slave into a king,rich into poor or poor into rich . Time is given more or less to everyone but the fact is how we use it matters.
To manage time and make your life less complicated following small things can help more..
1. Plan things in advance.
A very basic thing required to manage time.If you dont plan things in advance then your time will be more wasted. Its like before you finish your task you should know what you should do next.
2 prioritize task
Again basic but sometimes we ignore. Complete task first which is more important then others
3.Avoid distractions
In the world of smart phones and technology ,we are so addicted that we forget to not use our phone more then required, once when we start seeing one video we wish for other or we simply scroll down for new content or play games and are easily addicted to it and get distracted from our work. First complete your work and then you can reward yourself by watching social media for 10 to 15 mins. But 15 mins is 15 mins dont extend it.
4.Have a time table
I know many knows but very few try and out of which very few get success in following things as per time table. May be we fix to get up early in morning but the next day when its time to get up we are in our dreams and then our timetable gets disturbed or we end up in fixing timetable which is very hard for us to follow thus we lose patience and motivation to follow.
So what we can do is live your day and at the end of it just write at what time what work you have done and look where you have wasted time and make sure that you dont do so next time. Take small steps daily and at the end you will be following a time table without your knowledge and end up doing things on time.
5.Multitasking is both good and bad
Multi tasking makes you fatigue very soon. If you have no option then you can do multitasking and save time but if you are free then concentrate on one work at one time and try to achieve efficiency in that work itself.
6.Sometimes sleeping early and getting up early can do wonder.
It happened one day that I slept earlier and woke up earlier then usual . That day I did lot of work and at the end also I had lot of time left .I had good amount of energy and my mind was relaxed as there was no hurry and all work was on time. I thought to continue so by sleeping on time and getting up early.
Thus by keeping in short I will say ,try to manage your time by not big steps but by small steps.Changes takes time to change. It will not happen over night by making timetable and doing things accordingly on next day,it requires changes in timetable and adjusting it accordingly as per your convenience but the main motive is to not to waste time.
