Are you changing yourself because of others?

Are you changing yourself because of others? Do you really need to do that?

Happiness and freedom comes when we live life for our self. And I believe that its great to  upgrade our self, to try something fancy, something exciting and something new,to create a better version of our self... but never to change for others in the emotion of insecurity!




Insecurity is one of the worst feeling...in order to impress others... we should not kill our uniqueness!Sometimes we feel others are better then us...but its what we feel not what reality is!We should definitely learn from others but not change for others.


I will try to narrate some imaginary stories to give more clarity to the idea..

A girl named daisy was fat . She loves cooking and eating tasty food. She was very humble in her nature. She just simply care for everyone. Her dishes were so tasty that anyone can break their fast by just smelling it. She was happy in her life.

 When she was getting married,people were judging her making fun of her...she was still staying calm but one day she was broken. What she wanted was to be thinnest person. She tried really very hard...she was killing her mind and was not eating what she likes.. later she became little thin but the problem was she became very weak.

She was not enjoying her life. She thought she will show everyone that she can become thin so that people will not tease her but it eventually turns into opposite. People still tease her by commenting on her weakness!

She didn't understood why this happened..No one was seeing her good qualities..she again became  an object to criticize. Before she was happy but now she is not...she gets tired very soon. It's really hard to stop yourself from doing things which you loves the most!

Her husband supported her  and said her few things.... "We are not born to please others! What really matter is our health and our good character. There is beauty in imperfection and positivity in negative situations. We should  always love our life. There is no need to impress others who dont even care about your feelings!"

She understood that we should love our self too! And  not to give punishment to our self acting out of insecurity. Its good to become better but not by torturing our self .The moment she realize ... all her problems ended .She again started living happy and concentrated on her strength. But she promised herself she will take care of her body and exercise and eat nutritious food.
